THE SECOND COMING

By John Yeo

A round globe, a moon that spins gracefully in the emptiness of space. A light that dreams are woven from at nightfall.

A solidity that is taken for granted by association with the physical moon that lights up the night sky.

A moon-like entity came closer and closer to the planet causing uproar and panic among the dinosaurs all over the earth.

The round moon-like entity, composed of a strange substance, drifted to earth and landed among the high rocky mountains.

Then a lava-like substance, the life-force ,that had travelled across the infinity of the universe, just melted into a river.

The river of life then flowed gracefully to the sea, where new life took up residence in the waters that gave birth to all life.

Time passed and new life-forms crawled from the depths of the oceans to take residence on the land.

MASKS

By John Yeo

Every situation required a new specially adapted mask to portray the feelings outwardly that were expected from a growing close knit family. Sometimes her face would light up with happiness at a certain milestone. The first words, the first step, then there would be an almost natural expression of maternal pride and satisfaction.

Then at times the face would be a gentle face, that masked the tears inside, after a hurtful thoughtless cruel remark hit hard, penetrating to the core of her being.

Many times the angry, irate mask would be donned in response to a perceived threat to the children or the home. Then the protective mask would be applied and the voice would be altered to reflect the anger and to defend her family.

All her world was a stage and she developed a mask to reflect the required response to every possible situation. Instantly adaptable, instantly altered.

It would only be after many years of caring and protection in the background, often taken for granted.  A Mother would be lost and sincerely mourned and missed.

Stag story

ALL THE WORLD’S A STAG

By John Yeo

Our estate is under threat. Margaret and I  have taxes to pay to the government with an enormous amount of work to be done on the upkeep of our estate, we have to think of something to generate income from all sources of revenue. The situation is dire, the roof is leaking, the heirlooms have been auctioned and we still owe money.

The folk-lore of the estate tells tales of our ancestors who tamed and rode giant stags with enormous antlers that powered through the heather. One day the estate manager and I were returning home from a night out in the local hostelry after researching the problem over various wines and other liquid nourishment. An awesome, fearsome figure loomed on the horizon, picked out in the setting of the evening sun. A giant stag with the most incredible set of antlers we had ever seen. I photographed the stag, then requisitioned a local artist to paint a set of oil paintings.

Then was born the legend of the immortal, incredible God of the stags, miracles were reported and legends spun. People flocked from far and wide to try to catch a glimpse of the Deity, who could surely make wishes come true and heal the sick. Pilgrims arrived from lands afar bringing gold and silver as offerings to the Deity. We used these generous offerings to reconstruct the estate and to build a temple to receive more visitors as our personal miracle continued.

Then one sad day, reality arrived to shatter the illusions in the shape of our artist bearing and sharing the original photograph.

We still have our visitors and believers!

Red shift of the Blue Planet

Red planet

RED SHIFT OF THE BLUE PLANET

Seen from space The Earth is a Blue Planet

When the blue of the planet turns red with fire. Millions upon millions of minds open with an intellectual translucence of energy. A pouring out of intellectual fire,

Creative work with words, ideas, art  and science, mingling and moving.  A red shift as the combined rivers of thought marry the waves together into a mutual fire-storm of thought and creativity.

The spread of the waves through an internet of fire joins and moves, burning borders over an internet of peaceful co-existence.

The blue planet becomes red with the fires of  freedom.  Red seas shine into space through sharing of cultures and mutual thought.

Picture and Write Back~

Sometimes things  get even worse  than they appear and I would like to disappear into infinity. My whole body like a chameleon, changes appearance to meld and blend with my surroundings. This is the ultimate form of camouflage a reflex reaction to any form of danger real or imagined. A plasticity of my bodily material that enables me to become any shape or form that I imagine myself to be. I will become a wall that shuts out things from view on both sides of it’s existence. All my cares and the impending dangers are then shut from my consciousness and no longer exist for me.

In reality I wear a covering in the form of a jumper that I can put on or pull off at will, thus controlling the visual impact of my appearance in front of a brick wall. This is the origin of physical camouflage,  mental camouflage is real and very common.

THE DREAM
By John Yeo

The dream was incredibly vivid~I sat dozing in Grannies old armchair after a heavy afternoon, working out in the gym. A heady sweet smelling female perfume drifted into my nostrils sending my mind into a hypnotic trance.

I seemed to wake  with a jolt as an incredibly attractive leg slid down the back of the armchair. In my silent reverie, I gently caressed and stroked the smooth hairless skin. Then taking a slender foot in my hand and without looking up I began to run my fingers through each of the perfectly formed toes. The toenails were beautifully manicured and painted with a pretty shade of nail polish.

A hand was gently stroking my face, with soft pretty fingers that had been smoothing and running a path through my hair. I rested my head against the softness of a smooth-skinned knee as my silent half asleep  dreamy reverie continued.~~

The Lost Dream

Picture it and write

THE LOST DREAM

Last night I dreamed an important, wonderful event would be happening. Very soon. I saw the music, heard the colours, smelt the odours of imminent universal change. I entered another dimension located in the near future. My dream took me to a new frontier of universal happiness and a melding of all things corporeal, into a plane of pure being that is unattainable to the present pattern of being.
The virus that is infecting humanity holds the human race in a vice-like grasp. My dream gave the answers and the keys to unlocking the secrets of how to remove and destroy this block to our future growth.
When I awoke and came to, in this present dimension, I felt the peace and contentment flooding through my dream had been rudely ripped from my memory by the virus that infects us all.
I feel the heights and the withdrawal from this experience mirrored in my face as I struggle to revive the memory of my incredible dream.

My hands were stroking and caressing the glass~Outside the trees and freedom beckoned, the sun had shone earlier this morning but I was unable to experience the purity and warmth of the sun kissed air. I could see the warm breeze ruffling and swaying the leaves on the trees through the glass of our window pane.

Confined to this room since the men with powerful guns arrived and placed everyone under curfew. We are told this is for our own safety and to allow for a thorough extermination of the enemies of the invaders who come to kill and steal our lands and lives. I watch the free birds soaring and swirling in the sky, a spider crawls across the glass looking for food. Perhaps the curfew will be lifted soon and we will be able to find food for ourselves. When the danger is passed we will not be shot if we open our door. Nature continues to thrive and kill to survive.

Picture and Write~A Drop in the Ocean

picture and writetumblr_n12q1duk9g1r5mmhlo1_500.jpg

The sky was blue as we boarded our flight, to the other side of existence. The vehicle was very odd, shaped like a fish with wings for scales and fins on the tail. An aerodynamic curiosity indeed, I thought I was in a  dream that would never end.

I was introduced to the assessors of a life that had been lived to the full in a very privileged society.  We drifted over the life-filled ocean on another plane of thought lines. I was allowed to say my piece before the ultimate decision, was determined

My life flashed before me as I fell head-first  back to the  sea from whence all life originated. Ejected from the  plane of one existence to another. All memory was erased in that one-act of remembrance.

Future  was informed of the decision.
