MYSTERIOUS ISLAND (3)

As the year wound down to a close they gathered around the table and raised their glasses.
Marg could hardly believe the way time had flashed by since her recruitment into this shadowy financial organisation. These people were her colleagues and friends celebrating a year long programme. The recruitment process had been intense, the six-month training period with her fellow operatives had been hard and psychologically demanding. Marg had come through it all with flying colours and the Brigadier, who she had first met on this mysterious island was delighted.
The operation to infiltrate and destroy an illegal business cartel had gone off perfectly, the leader was eliminated and his assets and infrastructure taken over by the Brigadier. Marg now comfortably off was sworn to silence on pain of death, still in the clutches of the Brigadier.
As a successful private investigator with various other business interests she now mixed with a variety of very wealthy clients and friends. Then one fateful day to her horror…….
