Daily Nature Log ✍️
Margaret dropped me off at the golf club gates under a cool 17°C breeze that felt much closer to 14°C. Yesterday’s deluge had clearly brought out an all-you-can-eat buffet of worms, drawing a bustling crowd of nearly 150 rooks, jackdaws, and gulls to the greens.

Along the way, I spotted a sprightly off-lead Husky mix, snapped a picture of a rose hip bush practically begging to be turned into syrup, and watched cormorants dynamic-surfing the onshore winds over pounding waves.

A passing container ship and dramatic, bruised skies made for great photos before the heavens opened up again. By the time I reached Margaret and the car at the leisure centre, I was proper drowned-rat material—but 2.06 miles well spent!
